Meet the Team

  • Umar Holdridge

    PROGRAM MANAGER

    Following his conversion to Islam in 2013 and undergoing years of studies with Mihraab’s faculty, Umar set off to study in Turkey to study the traditional Ottoman curriculum, finally returning in 2023 with licensure and isnad to teach various sciences.
    An Eagle Scout, Umar can relate first-hand to the transformative power of experience-based learning, and launched Al-Fityan with the encouragement of his teachers in 2025.

    Balancing the duties of business and service, Ahmad spent years seeking knowledge and sacred companionship with Shaykh Mokhtar Maghrawi in Turkey before returning to the Seattle area in 2022.
