Intensive Breakdown

  • Aqeedah

Every Muslim is Muslim because of their belief. In this 8 class intensive, learn what makes a Muslim a Muslim and how the fundamental belief system of Islam impacts not only the individual but society as a whole, and what civilizational values are birthed from our Aqeedah. We will learn the necessities of faith, the implications of those tenants, and how to implement them in our daily lives, internally and externally.

  • Islamic Social & Ethical Values

Imam Ghazali presents his theory of what an ideal Islamic society would look like and what a moral and ethical world would look like in his chapter on Brotherhood from Ihya Ulum al Din. We will explore Imam Ghazali’s theory of Islamic society, cross referencing incidents from the both the Prophetic life and Islamic civilization as a whole. By the end, we will explore societal issues we face today and the possible solutions Islam has to offer.

  • History of Western Civilization

The world we live in has not been birthed in a vacuum, nor without causes and factors and perhaps most importantly, ideas that make us think the way we do. Join us as we briefly go through more than 2,000 years of Western ideology and its progress, starting from the ancient Greeks, to Rome, the Renaissance, Modernity and the world we live in today. We will learn how the Western mind addressed and answered the most pivotal questions surrounding existence, good & evil, morality and choice.
